Hull Fair 2015

What is Hull Fair?
Hull Fair is one of Europe's largest travelling funfairs, with multiple rides and stalls scattered around Walton Street Market. Hull fair is one of the oldest travelling funfairs to date, having it's 700th anniversary in 1993.

When is it?
This year, Hull Fair falls upon the 9th of October. It commences for an entire week, dis-including Sunday.

What is there?
Hull fair is notorious for it's many rides and attractions. This includes a big wheel, multiple bungee rides, multiple 'bomber' rides and even miniature versions of rides such as 'disco fever' for children. There's also attractions such as 'hook a duck' and 'penalty shootouts'. Hull Fair has rides for a variety of ages and those who thrill-seek and those who do not.

How much is it?
Hull fair is free to go! Rides differ in price, however. The larger rides, such as 'bomber' reach the price of £10. But, smaller rides such as 'crazy frog' and 'tagada' can cost as little as £2. Hull Fair often has 'happy hour' where rides can cost as little as £1.

Is it busy?
There never seems to be a day when Hull Fair is not crowded with locals and tourists. However, this is what it is partially renown for and creates a great atmosphere. Hull Fair is an event known by many and because it is only there for a minimal amount of time, people try to go as many times as possible, whenever is possible.

However, it is mostly busy at night because everyone loves the illuminations.
